1. Purpose of this manual
This manual is prepared to help requesters understand how to request access to records held by Papzeedo Trading (Pty) Ltd and to explain the categories of personal information processed by the company.

3. Information Officer
The head of the private body, or a duly authorised person appointed by Papzeedo Trading, is responsible for PAIA and POPIA requests. Requests may be sent to info@papzeedo.co.za.
4. PAIA Guide
The Information Regulator South Africa publishes guidance on how to use PAIA. Requesters may consult the Information Regulator for forms, guidance and complaint channels.
5. Categories of records held
Papzeedo Trading may hold the following categories of records:
- company statutory records and governance records;
- NCR registration and compliance records;
- customer due diligence, onboarding, FICA and screening records;
- transaction assessment records, purchase orders, invoices, quotations and repayment-flow records;
- supplier, buyer, operator and counterparty verification records;
- bank-account verification and payment-control records;
- agreements, mandates, suretyship, collateral/security and transaction documentation;
- financial, accounting, tax and audit records;
- legal, compliance, risk-management and regulatory correspondence;
- website, enquiry, email and communication records.
6. Records available without a formal PAIA request
Some information may be made available on the website or on request without a formal PAIA process, including public company details, NCR registration number, website policies and general service information.
7. Request procedure
A requester should submit a written request identifying the record requested, the requester details, the right being exercised or protected, and the form in which access is required. Papzeedo Trading may request proof of identity, authority and any prescribed fee before processing a request.
8. Grounds for refusal
Access may be refused where permitted by law, including to protect personal information, confidential commercial information, third-party records, privileged records, safety, security, legal claims or records that cannot lawfully be disclosed.
9. POPIA processing categories
Papzeedo Trading may process personal information relating to directors, shareholders, beneficial owners, employees, suppliers, buyers, borrowers, operators, counterparties, advisers, agents and website users.
10. Recipients of personal information
Information may be disclosed to verification providers, banks, payment providers, operators, legal advisers, compliance advisers, auditors, regulators, law enforcement where required, and other counterparties necessary for a transaction or legal obligation.
11. Security safeguards
Papzeedo Trading applies reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards to protect records and personal information. Access is limited according to operational, legal and compliance requirements.

Complaints or requests may first be sent to info@papzeedo.co.za. A requester may also approach the Information Regulator South Africa where applicable.
